No crying over split milk...

Is there any use? Absolutely NO...! One has to reconcile to the fact that milk split cannot be redeemed. Accepting the reality, there should be no crying. It is futile to regret over what cannot be altered or undone. Accept the fact and move on. Regretting or crying may damage our spirit to proceed further and it may have a detrimental cascading effect.

The corona virus pandemic has turned the world upside down. There is unprecedented damage and loss, the world over. The pandemic has made it clear that no country or person is superior to the other. The world has to come out of this unfortunate situation and it will, in due course. We cannot afford to stagnate here, mourning the death and misery. Though we empathize with the deceased, we have to move on. Crying does not help in any way. Have faith in God and do your duty.

In all walks of life, there will be some loss or the other. That is inevitable. It happens invariably to everyone. You start a venture, investing hard-earned money. You do all the preparatory work with utmost care. Yet for some inexplicable reason, it bombs. Of course, the loss is heavy and to come out of it unscathed, is difficult. Yet, there is no point in crying over the split milk. You have to pick up the threads and try to re-build your empire, may be from scratch. There is nothing to get disheartened about the unsuccessful episode. In the whole process you would have definitely learnt a lesson or two, which will guide you in your future success.

Soichiro Honda, the founder of HONDA brand motorcycles and cars, first started supplying piston rings to TOYOTA. His plant was destroyed completely in a bomb attack in 1944 and another plant got totally wiped off by an earthquake in 1945. He did not cry over the total loss. He sold off the remains to Toyota and used that money to start a Technical Research Institute and 2 years later, started manufacturing HONDA Motorcycles. Te rest is history, as they say.

Jack Ma, the founder of the internet company ALIBABA, failed in getting a job in his dozen attempts (including for a job in KFC), but look at where he is now; the richest person in China. He did not cry over his failures but persisted in achieving greater things in life. The really successful persons are made of tough stuff. They don't keep wailing. They never give up, meeting failures.

In married life too, in some extreme cases, the divorce becomes inescapable. No doubt, the couple would have tried their best to avoid the ultimate outcome (divorce). But instead of prolonging the sour marriage and continuing over a long period without any amicable solution in sight, it is better to opt for divorce. Both the affected parties will be happy thus. Just because the marriage did not work and ended up as a disaster, the couple need not cry over it. They have to start looking ahead. After all, life does not end there.
