Once a painter was given a task to make a portrait of a king who had one leg and one eye. This portrait was going to be placed among the portraits of the king’s illustrious forefathers. The painter planned to have a fitting portrait of the king. The portrait finally drawn showed the king sitting on a horse, the one existing leg in the side of the horse and the king taking aim with his bow and arrow with one eye (the unavailable eye) closed. What a thoughtful presentation by the painter! He had focused on the positives. But it was still a true representation of the king. Always focus on the positive. If you put a line across the negative sign (-), you get a ‘plus’ (+). A statistics professor wrote a problem on the board, which remained unsolved for a long time. He informed the students in the class about the problem not getting solved over many years. A student entered the class immediately after the professor gave that information....
