The 'best' creation by God... "Mother" - Mother's Day tribute
Thomas Alva Edison's teacher once wrote a note to Edison's mother. Edison handed over the letter to his mother. She read the 'note' and told Edison that his teacher had written that 'he being a very brilliant boy and since his school did not have suitable teachers to educate him, it was better for him to be trained at home'. So he was taken out of school and his mother educated him and he later became the renowned inventor of the century. When his mother died, Edison went to his mother's home and started clearing the things, when he found the 'note' written by his school teacher. He unfolded it carefully and read the contents and was awestruck! The 'note' read, 'Your son is so very stupid, we cannot accommodate him in our school. Please be informed that we are removing him from our school'. His mother did not reveal the real contents to the boy at that time and did what was best for him.
A lady's son got married to a girl. The daughter-in-law did
not like her mother-in-law and always quarreled with her. The son was
completely under his wife's charm and always supported her (not seeing what was
right). The grudge grew in the girl's mind to such an extent that for her
birthday, she demanded her mother-in-law's heart as 'birthday gift'. The
ungrateful son, totally under his wife's spell, went and demanded from his
mother what his wife wanted. The mother, who loved her son so much, gave her
heart without any hesitation. This stupid son carried his mother's heart in a
plate and started walking away. He stumbled and was about to fall down. The
mother's heart told her son to take care and not hurt himself. This is a story
narrated in a movie, which reveals the mother's unbounded love for her son.
This is only to teach a moral and hence no need to probe into the veracity of the
possibility.
There lived a mother and son. The mother was having just one
eye. The small boy developed a hatred for his mother right from his younger
days, since his mother was having only one eye. His mother visited him in his
school to deliver the lunch box. His friends mocked at him as his mother was
having only one eye. He came back from school that evening and fought with her
and told her that he would carry his lunch with him every day. He told her not
to visit him in school. He got married and had his own children. His wife and
kids also hated the old lady because of her handicap. His mother died sometime
later. He did not even attend her funeral. He happened to visit his school in
his village sometime later and he decided to have a look at his old home. He
stumbled across a 'note' which revealed the fact that his mother had donated
one of her eyes when he got injured in his eye, when he was young. His mother
wanted her son to have both eyes, by donating one of her eyes. That was the
kind of sacrifice....
A daughter charged her mother for being of help in her
domestic chores, as the maid was on leave that day. Grinding some stuff in
mixie - Rs. 10, Washing the utensils - Rs. 25, Cleaning the floor - Rs.
50. Her mother gave a piece of paper after some time, to her daughter. Carrying
you in my womb - No Charge, taking care of you without sleep for so many years
- No Charge, educating you - No Charge... The daughter realized her folly. All
paid in LOVE.
Mother's sacrifice, right from conceiving to bringing you up
as a lad or a teenage girl, passing through several hardships cannot be
explained in words even by the most versatile writer. So, never judge the
sacrifice of the mother in monetary terms. This is one thing that cannot be
measured by any scale in the world. God created mothers and they are the best creation of HIM.
Mother is your first friend, mother is your best friend and
mother is your 'forever' friend. Don't send her to 'Old Age Homes'...
