Be you...., Be unique....

"It is better to be unique rather than the best, because being the best makes you the number one, but being unique makes you the only one" - said someone.

Always try to be you; You are unique. Everyone is unique in his/her own way. God has created each human being to be different with 'different and unique sets of attributes'. So, never try to mimic anyone. You can draw inspiration from those you admire. But never 'copy and paste'.... Plagiarism in any form is bad. It would curtail your imagination power, God has bestowed on you.

You are created by the Almighty to achieve something unique and not follow somebody's beaten track. Create a path of your own. Do not waste your inherent talents and allow them to die a premature death. Instead, try to identify your talents and convert them into skills (and hone them further) and use them to achieve dizzy heights. Once your talents are recognized by you, be passionate in nurturing them and go on to achieve the laurels.

If you try to become another person by copying some of his mannerisms and qualities, it is akin to "a cat trying to draw lines as a tiger to become a tiger". Cat can never become a tiger. Be the cat you are and be proud of it. Think that the tiger cannot be like you and cannot do what you could do. You are 'you' and he is 'he'. Love you first.

Impersonation will one day or the other boomerang on you, with disastrous effects. Now-a-days, most of the music directors copy from some other existing music (which many of us would not have heard) and patch it up here and there and make it look like new, as if it is their own creation. The general public these days are very clever and informed and so they can easily find the origin of the original music and the impersonator will have to draw abuses. Even the name he has made for himself earlier (by creating original scores) would be tarnished.

Some of the ardent, hard-core and fanatical fans of famous movie stars start copying the mannerisms of their idol. What is the use? Why do they do it? Isn't it crazy! The movie star has not got to this place in society, just like that. He would have faced several road-blocks on the way, surmounted them and achieved this height. You too work hard and try to reach great heights, instead of copying his mannerisms. You may like him for his acting, style (whatever). Appreciate it and keep doing your work diligently and aim for some higher goal.

"Nobody is superior, nobody is inferior, but nobody is equal either. People are simply unique, incomparable. You are you. I am I" - Osho

"There is power in knowing what you are great at, and not losing time trying to be great at what you are not". Be you...., be unique.
