நம்மில் எல்லோருமே, நமது வாழ்வில் ஏதோ ஒரு சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் (அல்லது பல சமயங்களில்) தவறு செய்கிறோம். இதில் எந்த மனிதனுக்கும் விதிவிலக்கு என்பதே கிடையாது. தவறே செய்யவில்லை என்றால் (ஒரு வேளை), அது ‘இயந்திரமாகத்தான்’ இருக்க வேண்டும். நிச்சயம் ‘மனிதன்’ அல்ல. யார் அதிகமாக தவறு செய்கிறார்கள், யார் குறைவாக என்பதில் தான் வித்தியாசம் இருக்க முடியும். தவறு என்று தெரியாமலே நாம் செய்வதுதான் ‘உண்மையான தவறு’. தெரிந்தே செய்வது, ‘தப்பு’. "தவறு செய்தவன் திருந்தப் பார்க்கணும், தப்பு செய்தவன் வருந்தியாகணும்” - இது ஒரு பழைய சினிமா பாட்டு. தவறு எப்படி வேண்டுமானாலும் நேரலாம் - நமது அறியாமையினால், மறதியினால், வேலையில் கவனம் செலுத்தாதனால், மனப்பிறழ்ச்சியினால் - இப்படி ஏதாவது ஒன்றால். சில சமயங்களில், நாம் எவ்வளவுதான் கவனமாக இருந்தாலும், பயிற்சியின்மையினால் கூட தவறு நிகழலாம். எப்படி, செய்யும் வேலையில் தவறு நேராமல் தப்பிப்பது? அந்த வேலைக்கான முழுப் பயிற்சி எடுத்துக் கொள்வது, அந்த வேலை பற்றிய முழு விவரமும் தெரிந்து வைத்துக் கொள்வது, மிகக் கவனமாக இருப்பது, நமக்கு ஏதோ ஒரு காரணத்தால் (வயது முதிர்வு அல்லது பிறவிக் க...

Everyone, at some point of time or the other, would have thought so (had it happened the other way...). It is wishful thinking. Nothing (with few exceptions) in the world, happens as we wish. The way it has happened is the surest thing. It was destined to happen that way.  All our efforts in a particular direction may fructify in a totally different direction (due to the will of God). So whatever happens may follow your path or the exact opposite. Hence, the conclusion is that the result may or may not have any relevance to what we think might happen. We can never say with assurance that the result will be exactly as what we have assumed or calculated it to be. It might or might not happen that way. So, the governing factor is entirely God's will. But God will help you to achieve what you plan with your sincere efforts, most of the time. So, it is our duty to do the task sincerely and leave the result to God. He knows what is best for us. Only the tree with ripe fruits gets hit. As long as we exist in this world, we cannot avoid being criticized. More so, when we are rich, handsome, highly successful, famous etc.... Criticisms can be on whatever we are or on whatever we perform. The best way to face the comments / criticisms on us is to 'just ignore' them, whether they are positive or negative. Just be level-headed and consider both bouquets and brickbats as equal. Of course it is the most difficult thing for a normal human being like us. We should be highly seasoned to reach this level. What is the purpose of education? Is it just knowing the already well-known facts and figures? Do our students need to spend so much of their precious time in knowing and memorizing only the facts and details, which are already available in the webs of information? Why are the authorities connected with formulating and monitoring such aspects not doing anything about it? Are they not interested in the future generation? These are all pertinent questions that need immediate and plausible answers, if we have to make the future generation worthwhile and take the world to new heights. Gone are those days, wherein students were made to memorize everything, right from the multiplication tables to scientific and historical facts.
